NO BAKE PROTEIN BITES

While I was feeling sick last week I decided to whip up my FAVORITE No Bake Protein Bites.
My friend Sarah texted me a while ago saying she couldn’t stop eating some protein bites so I looked up a couple recipes and have been addicted ever since!
Here is my version–
You will need
1 cup rolled old fashioned oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup agave nectar
1/2 cup coconut
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
1 tbsp vanilla
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1 tsp vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp flaxseed
1 tbsp wheat germ
(last 4 items can really be as much or as little as you want…)

 

The neat thing about this recipe is you really can mix it up however you want.
Use almond better, use honey, use another kind of nut… however you want it!

 

Basically all you need to do is combine all of these ingredients together in one bowl and then let cool in refrigerator for 10 minutes or so.  This helps them shape better into balls.
After cooling, shape into 1″ ball shape  and you’re all set!
Easy as that.
They stay good for up to 1 week!
I eat a couple for breakfast and some after lunch. They really do help keep me full & keep my energy up throughout the day!
