Every year I tell myself we will come up with GREAT Halloween costumes but we always tend to scramble day of! Are we the only ones?
On Halloween we decided to whip up our outfits at 4:15 p.m. when our first party of the night was at 5 p.m…. aaaaand this is what we came up with.
Easiest costume ever!

The DAY after Halloween I couldn’t wait to put up some Thanksgiving decorations.
I get so antsy to put up new decor! I need help.
(will anyone judge me if I take it down before Thanksgiving and start putting up Christmas…….)
Oh and it’s hilarious to me how staying in on the weekends in Jr. High & High School is like total social suicide but now I live for it.
The day after Halloween Will had a “boys night” (who knew they even had those) and I enjoyed a night in by myself! Nothing like a good read & some hot cocoa to keep me in perfect company.
Also, how does Anthro nail their Holiday decor EVERY SINGLE YEAR?

Ooh ooh and are we floored my first 5K of the year was the DONUT RUN?!

For the race you run 1.5 miles up to a little donut stand and for each donut hole you ate, 30 seconds could be taken off your final time! Kind of a fun way to do it! I heard one guy casually at 72 donut holes… how he ran back I have NO idea.
It was up City Creek Canyon and we seriously couldn’t have asked for a prettier morning up there!
And the donuts provided were Branbury Cross…. so quality stuff right there.
That night we went to the Utah vs. Oregon game (brutal game ahhh.. so sad). Utah games have definitely been a highlight this Fall with Willie!
My work is getting mad at me because they think I have betrayed BYU (HA!) because I go to all the Utah games but I’m here to say I am a FAN OF BOTH SCHOOLS. IF that is even possible. I loved the academics and people I met at BYU (and was a Cougarette) but I grew up my entire life loving the U and that is where most of my family is alumni. Both have great fans, both have horrible fans… but as far as the sports go.. I just want to see a good game. And right now, Utah has most of those games 🙂
And for those of you worrying.. Will is still working on his kissy face. I will keep you updated on the progress of that.
