Thanksgiving Break 2016

Thanksgiving week was simply the best. I am so grateful that we have time set aside to reflect on all our many blessings and surround ourselves with family for a couple days.

The night before we went up to Stein Eriksen to meet up with my mom’s side of the family, Lu had a sleepover at our house and it was the absolute greatest. We made Mac n’ Cheese, played music and watched her dance for hours on end, watched Mickey Mouse Christmas, drew pictures, jumped on the tramp and even stopped by the bakery to grab a cookie. That girl exemplifies JOY and I just love her to death.

I also loved waking up on Thanksgiving to a huge snow storm. Utah has had what feels like the longest fall alive so I loved finally playing in some snow! We had a Diederich family steak and crab fest again and I don’t think I’ll ever want to do Thanksgiving another way ever again.. I think we might be the only ones that aren’t crazy about a turkey dinner.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by family or at least some delicious food. I feel grateful this year for so many things but wanted to take a second and say thank you to YOU guys. I receive amazing emails, nice comments (mostly ?), and I’ve loved getting to know some of you from this crazy little space on the web. Sometimes I have NO CLUE why I keep this space of mine up and runnin’ but I love it because of all of you. Thank you for following my crazy life!!

xoxo
