Life has had its fair share of both challenges and blessings lately.
There are days (weeks) when literally everything goes wrong (within one week of my camera getting stolen out of my car, Will’s car was smashed by another car that had no driver Monday night..) but I’ve also had so many realizations that these are small hiccups in a big, beautiful grand plan. I’ve tried really hard lately to look at the bigger picture and realize there are more important things in life than focusing on all the bad.
So, here are some of the more positive notes of our life lately…
My sis was in town for her birthday! So we were able to get together for a birthday breakfast for a darling new bakery that just opened.
The day after my camera was stolen, I treated myself to some huge cookies and came home to some flowers that Will’s mom dropped by. She’s always so thoughtful and sweet!
I’ve been catching up on This is Us. Also currently watching Grey’s Anatomy. I always just need a show playing in the background while I’m at home working even if I have NO clue what’s going on… Is anyone watching anything good?!
We’ve been able to spend a lot of solid time with friends which is always good for the soul.
We went down to St. George for the weekend and loved the warmer weather and no wifi.
Snow Canyon State Park.. always amazes me!
I was mistaken for a model for the day and was asked to pose in some of Rachel Parcell’s new dresses.
Will and I had a much needed date night with just the two of us last night at a new sushi restaurant. Their presentation was seriously so incredible!
And then today I took this picture as I was heading out the door to go into the office. I’m a hot mess lately. Hardly sleeping, hardly getting ready, and hardly surviving to be quite honest. But this weekend we are tending a new family that has 6 kids under the age of 12. So that should help… ? But in all reality. I couldn’t be happier! I feel like bad days lead to better days and I’m excited for what’s to come.
