Newport Beach 2021

I always look forward to our annual Newport Beach trip! We have been going every year since I was a little girl and some of my favorite family memories are in some of these spots. We don’t branch out too often and I’m sure there are tons and tons of other places that are great but I wills share with you what we usually like to do! Every time we leave, I am on Zillow dreaming of buying a home there (key word: dreaming) but one day I would honestly LOVE to make it a reality 🤞🏼

Here are some things we love to do, see, and eat while in Newport! I am NO pro and usually only go for one week a yea… but here is where we usually like to visit!

Things to do:

• Balboa Island
  • Ride the ferry over to see the island (option to also drive over)
  • Ride the ferris wheel
  • Walk around and visit all of the shops
  • Grab some lunch/takeout and take the duffy boat around on a ride
  • Get a balboar bar
• Fashion Island mall
• Go into Laguna and walk around to see the shops
• Walk to the Crystal Cove lookout point
• Irvine Spectrum mall
• Disneyland, duh.
• Catalina Island – we’ve done it once and it was fun! Rent some golf carts and cruise around! It’s probably a once every 20 years trip in my opinion…
• Lido District is AMAZING! So many great shops. I’m dying to eat at the Nobu there one day 😍
• Roger’s Gardens – pretty to walk around and eat!

• Corona del Mar State beach (the one we usually always do)
• Newport beach

Disneyland!

I always love visitng Disneyland no matter the time of year! Our eldest is at the PERFECT age now (Our youngest is still a little too young to really enjoy all of it!) but we have fun riding the rides and escaping reality for the day… Nothing like that Disney magic!

The night before we left on the trip, I told our daughter to pack her own backpack with snacks and games and forgot to double check it before we got to the airport. When we got there I found her two dressups inside. I mean if that doesn’t melt your heart! 🥺❤️
