SAYONARA SUMMER

You know Summer is over when you wake up to go on a jog at 6:30am and go outside and it’s FREEZING so you turn around and go crawl back into bed.
Somehow I feel like I blinked and summer ended!

Life has been a whirlwind lately so I haven’t found the time to post some of my favorite pictures from this summer!
Here are a couple highlights-
My dad has a timeshare at a hotel in Park City so we went and spent a lot of time with my family while they were up there for the week.
The great part about Park City is that it feels like you are SO far away from home when in reality it’s only 15 minutes away.
We love it up there.

This picture cracks me up.
I planned a wedding w/ my sister in law in August and it happened to be POURING RAIN the whole day of the wedding.
I put on Will’s rain coat and persuaded Jensen to come help but we seriously had a blast spending all day in the rain.
If there’s a rainy day, it really all depends on how the bride handles it. She was happy and cordial the entire day. And that is all that matters.
A fun activity this summer was Craft Lake City!
Google Fiber sponsored the STEM building and it was SO neat to see all the new products in relation to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Will pretty much just sat and starred at the human brain for 25 minutes.

<<Side note: I’m LOVE with my new Nena and Co. bag>>
I love companies who have a mission that serves a better purpose.
Ali, from Nena, employs women in Guatemala to make these bags in return of a fair wage that they deserve (hence the price of the bags).

Another high of this summer was definitely MOVING!
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I love everything about moving haha. Crazy, I know.
I love organizing, de-junking, donating things to the DI, decorating the new place etc. It’s all a wild ride and I love it.

I ate at Cubby’s one too many times this summer.

Of course I found more walls, duh.

One day in August I had a COMPLETE Seinfield day.
It was 100% COMICAL.
For starters, I ran STRAIGHT into the clear glass walls at the Apple Store full speed and my phone went FLYING and the store went dead quiet and everyone was staring at me.
Then 10 more things happened that day that were just so frightening.
I couldn’t help but just laugh it all off.

In August I also planned BRING YOUR KIDS TO WORK DAY!
It was such a blast.
A face painter came, we played minute to win it games and the kids probably consumed 130948 grams of sugaaaaa.
Whoops.

Willie and I both also had birthdays in August!

Mitchy is doing so great too!
He had a rough week hearing about Poppy passing as well as the passing of one his investigators in Peru but he is staying positive!
I still can’t believe he will be with me during the next ski season.
Giddy just thinkin about it.
HERE’S TO THE BEST SEASON EVER!
