Our Anniversary was Grand

Grand Anniversary

I still can’t believe we just celebrated THREE years of being married. Three!

Last year, we babysat over our anniversary so I knew I really wanted to make this year special. We’ve been wanting to close a credit card for awhile now but I wanted to use the points we’d accumulated first. We had exactly enough points for a night stay at The Grand America and it was the perfect getaway for us.

We checked into the hotel, finished up the Utah football game, went to dinner and then walked around downtown SLC. This October in Utah has been SO warm and beautiful. I was able to walk around in just my dress with no sweater and it felt incredible.

Fun fact: I fell down the staircase into the dinner restaurant, broke my shoes (mules) and pretty much just wrecked my whole body. We were laughing SO hard.. I swear, my life these days is one big joke after another.

Sunday morning we went on a walk, visited Temple Square and the visitors center, grabbed some bakery goodies, relaxed at the spa, and then went home to get ready for church.

And on Tuesday (our actual anniversary day) we went to Rich’s bagels, worked, and then celebrated at our favorite restaurant of all time MARKET STREET GRILL!

Will + clam chowder + fries + a diet coke with lemon makes me the happiest human alive!

Anniversaries are always the best time to reflect on our time together as a married couple and the memories we’ve had. Life has SO many ups & downs (a fair share of downs recently) but having Will by my side makes me feel like anything is possible and I can’t wait for the many anniversaries to come.

I LOVE OCTOBER 25th!
